Telegu Actress emulates Poonam Pandey’s bold claim

Rekha Boj who happens to be a young Telegu movie star has come up with a promise to the Indian team. She has promised to run the Vizag beach without a hint of clothing on herself if India wins the 2023 ODI World Cup final game on Sunday.

12 years ago yet another actress named Poonam Pandey had come up with a similar claim. The claim was made on the eve of the ODI World Cup 2011 final between India and Sri Lanka. Team India had beaten Sri Lanka by 6 wickets on that day to win their second ODI World Cup title in Mumbai.

Both India and Australia had begun the ODI World Cup 2023 tournament playing against each other in Chennai. On that day Australia were bowled out for 199 after being placed at 118/2 at one stage. The Indian spinners weaved their magic as they bowled out the Australian team cheaply.

Chasing 200 to win, Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc struck early. The two Aussie quick bowlers had reduced India to 2/3 with the top three batters failing. Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Shreyas Iyer had fallen for ducks in the 2nd over. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul then combined to add 165 runs for the 4th wicket as the pair took India to safety. The former Indian skipper was out for 85 runs as he brought India from the brink of defeat. KL Rahul stayed not out on 97 as he ended the game with a six and missed out on an ODI World Cup century for India.
