On number four is another Australian tennis legend, Jack Crawford, who won the title four times. His first title came in 1931, the sixth year of his participation. He had two semifinal and two quarterfinal appearances in his last five participations before winning the coveted silverware.
The Australian Icon retired in 1951 after 25 years of professional Tennis and 6 Grand Slam titles. To his credit, the legend also has one French Open men’s singles title and one Wimbledon men’s singles title. He passed away in the year 1991, aged 83.
