IPL Mini Auction is just around the corner. It is a huge test for each team before they assemble in Dubai. Indian Cricketers will be in focus as a mix of youth and experience have registered themselves for the IPL Mini Auction.

Big names like Travis Head, Pat Cummins, and Mitchell Starc have already registered themselves. Indian Cricket Players list includes the likes of Umesh Yadav, Harshal Patel, and Shardul Thakur are also set to go under the hammer after being released.

In this article, we take a close look at the five popular players who could be among IPL unsold players in the upcoming IPL mini-auction.

Kedar Jadhav – India

The former Indian Cricketer was drafted in as a replacement player during IPL 2023. After getting released the 38-year-old has yet again put his name in the IPL Mini Auction. Kedar Jadhav could likely find himself in the IPL Unsold Players List. Despite his good form in domestic cricket, the former Indian cricketer may just find his advancing age acting as a disadvantage.

Angelo Matthews – Sri Lanka

The former Sri Lanka skipper has played the IPL before without much success. With a base price of INR 2 Crores, Angelo Matthews could very well be ignored by most teams. The Sri Lankan is one of the prime candidates to make the IPL unsold players list during the IPL mini auctions.

Ashton Agar – Australia

The 30-year-old Australian Cricketer is yet to play in the IPL. The Western Australian star has priced himself at INR 1 Crore. His lack of experience in the league could be one of the reasons why Ashton Agar could be an IPL unsold player. When the players go under the hammer during IPL mini-auction one can expect Ashton Agar’s name to be given a miss.

Tom Curran – England

Out of favour England star player, Tom Curran hasn’t played in the IPL for the last two years. The 28-year-old is valued at INR 1.5 Crores which could make it tough for him to find a bidder. In the last two years, Tom Curran has found himself on the IPL unsold list. And, the IPL Mini auction this year could be no different.

Kane Richardson – Australia

Once a member of the RCB side, Kane Richardson played IPL 2021 before the season was cut short. Known for his effective use of cutters and variations the Australian cricketer has put himself in the INR 1.5 Crores bracket. Teams may overlook the Australian during the IPL mini-auction in Dubai. Despite his T20 talents, Kane Richardson might again be confined to the IPL unsold players list this year.
