Team India has locked horns against Sri Lanka for their seventh game of the ODI World Cup 2023 at the iconic Wankhede Cricket Stadium in Mumbai. Notably, Rohit Sharma and Co. will be the first team, which will qualify for the semi-final spot if they defeat the Sri Lankan side in the ongoing match of the event.

However, India’s captain, Rohit Sharma, who was born up practising in Mumbai, was cheaply dismissed for just two runs in his second ball after scoring the boundary on the first ball. Speaking about the game here, it was Sri Lankan skipper Kusal Mendis who won the toss and invited the hosts to bat first. However, it was not a bad call for India, as Rohit Sharma also wanted to bat first on this pitch.
