Ubisoft to hold open beta for Skull And Bones in February
Players will finally be able to try the latest titles by Ubisoft through an open beta testing planned for February. The game was announced around six years back when E3 was still a thing.
Now the game has an official trailer and an open beta in a couple of weeks. The trailer shows Assassin’s Creed Black Flag-themed pirate ship, which is the actual theme for the game. You play as a pirate, like in Sea of Thieves but more detailed.
Open beta date and features
The open beta for Skull And Bones will start on February 8 and will run until February 11. In order to access the beta, players will not need to purchase the game. It is available on Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store.
There will be a pirate hub where players can progress the story mission and pick up contracts. By completing them, they can ascend up the pirate ranks. The highest rank they can get is Brigand.
Those who take part in the beta will also get additional rewards. Player progress for the open beta will also carry forward to the actual launch of the game, planned for February 16th.
