Inter Miami vs Al Nassr clash takes hit as Cristiano Ronaldo set to miss the much awaited match

There have been a lot of rivalries in the game of football and there will be a lot of individuals who can’t wait to see these individuals face each other again. The rivalries of Pele and Diego Maradona and Patrick Vierra and Roy Keane are some of the most memorable battles on the field that we remember. There are a lot of head-to-head battles between players and teams which we all have looked forward to seeing in the past. These competitive rivals are always going to be remembered for a long time in the beautiful game.

One of the biggest rivalries that we have grown up watching is between the two greats of Football right now who are none other than Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Both these players are not only known for their skill and goal-scoring IQ but also for their battle when they come face to face with each other. It was first happening in the Champions League and soon after Ronaldo made that move to Real Madrid, there was hardly a day where we never saw a game between these two great football players.

The long wait is still on

The comeback of this epic rivalry was set to start again in the upcoming pre-season match between Ronaldo’s Al Nassr and Messi’s Inter Miami. However, the coach of Al Nassr has confirmed that Ronaldo will not be featured in the match since he is recovering from a muscle injury. This will disappoint the fans who were looking forward to this fixture only to see the Portuguese Powerhouse against the Argentine legend once again. This was most likely going to be the last time these two would feature in a game of football as well.

This might not be the best day for the fans as they were certainly looking forward to seeing these two greats battle it out once again in front of a big crowd. Messi and Ronaldo will always remain in our hearts as not only the greatest players to ever grace the field but also the competitive nature shown by both of them to score as many goals and go past each other with the ball. We hope that we get to see that one last dance between these two iconic legends once again in the future since people will do anything to see that contest.
