Roman Reigns could be stripped of WWE championship, here’s the reason why

The WWE has plans in place to strip Roman Reigns of at least one of his WWE titles, reports have suggested. These rumours come on the back of a significant disturbance caused by his group, The Bloodline, on the latest edition of RAW.

This week’s RAW was highlighted by an old-fashioned invasion by The Bloodline, who, without their leader being present, caused destruction at ringside and even assaulted the security guards. The disturbance was enough to cause Adam Pearce to come out, followed by members of the RAW locker room, who made their way to the ring to chase The Bloodline away.

According to reports, this incident could eventually lead to The Big Dog losing the WWE Championship. Reigns, who is slated to defend both world titles against The Rock at Wrestlemania, could also lose one of his titles before the showcase event in case The Rock does not compete, the report went on to add.

Another opponent that Reigns might be coming up against on the big stage is Kevin Owens, with the duo set for a showdown at Royal Rumble later this month. Tensions between the two had escalated after KO ruptured Reigns’ eardrum with an unplanned spot.

Owens’ feud with The Bloodline continued on RAW as he teamed up with The Street Profits to take on Sami Zayn and The Usos. This was on the orders of Adam Pearce, who put four members of the Reigns-led faction in matches as a result of their earlier transgressions. Solo Sikoa, who had already competed earlier on the show against Elias, made his presence felt in this six-man tag team match as well, coming out to distract Owens to help Sami Zayn secure the victory for his team.

Adam Pearce could also be seen on the show backstage speaking with former members of the Hurt Business, who could also figure in the narrative surrounding The Bloodline.
