In the Quarterfinals of the FA Cup, Manchester City defeated Burnley 6-0, thanks to Braut Erling Haaland, who scored a hat-trick. Argentine striker Julian Alvarez also scored two goals and one goal was scored by England’s young striker Cole Palmer.
Erling Haaland scored his sixth hat-trick in his debut season for Manchester City. In the match, he scored the first three goals, which came in the 32nd, 35th, and in 59th minutes of the game. As a result, he now has a total of 42 goals for the Blues.
After the match, Burney manager and Manchester City legend Vincent Kompany stated that Haaland can join Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho, Zinedine Zidane, and Cristiano Ronaldo in becoming the one of the great strikers of the world. The Norwegian slammed the ninth goal of this week. Earlier, he scored five goals in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League’s Round of 16 match at the Etihad Stadum.

“I have played against the greats – Messi, Ronaldinho, Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo. ,And in the end they are part of a special elite because even the very best find it very difficult to stop those guys – and someone like Erling will keep finding a way. His game can and will still improve and that is maybe the difference with the other superstars – he is still willing to improve,” Kompany was quoted as saying.
“I think his goalscoring record in general puts him in a certain bracket, a certain category. I don’t need to say more than showing you his record of goals. But I also see the mindset of someone who wants to improve. So if he continues to do that – and he is going to have to – that’s not something you experience a lot,” the former Manchester City defender added.
Haaland will be seen playing next against Liverpool in the English Premier League fixture on Saturday, April 1 at the Etihad Stadium.
