‘Ab to sai baba bhi nahi dekh pa rahe’- Twitter has a field day with memes as Prithvi Shaw gets out for duck in RR vs DC IPL match

Prithvi Shaw was included in the Delhi Capitals teams as an impact player for their IPL match against Rajasthan Royals on Saturday, 8^th April 2023.

The right-hand batter is going through a turbulent time in his career as he did get a chance in the Indian national team despite doing well in domestic cricket. When the IPL rolled around, it was a chance for the youngster to prove his worth and knock at the national team’s door.

The 23-year-old however has failed to grab his chances yet again and is on his way to proving his haters right. Shaw has so far made 19 runs in 3 matches coming up with a  duck in the third match against Rajasthan Royals.

The young batter has failed to live up to the expectations in the ongoing IPL 2023. He came in as an impact player in the 3^rd match but failed again as was dismissed by Trent Boult on the very third ball itself.

DC were chasing a monumental target of 199 and Shaw’s early dismissal has put the team in a tricky position.

In the first inning, RR got a great start to the game as both opening batters Yashasvi Jaiswal (60) and Jos Buttler (79) came up with an individual half-century. Simron Hetymyer also brought up a brilliant 39 off 21 to take Rajasthan to a monumental total.
