As the match resumed, India’s stalwart Virat Kohli again shined out against Pakistan as he hammered a great century, marking his 47th ODI hundred after grabbing 124 runs from 94 balls, featuring nine boundaries and three sixes, with a great strike rate of 130. In addition, LSG skipper KL Rahul also notched up his century after scoring 111 runs from 106 balls, including 12 boundaries and two sixes, to post a substantial total against Babar Azam and Co.
Notably, former India skipper Virat Kohli completed 13000 runs in his ODI career from 278 innings with a batting average of 57. In addition, the stylish right-handed batter’s top score is 183, which he scored during the Asia Cup in 2012 against Pakistan. The 34-year-old cricketer recorded his 47th ODI century on the reserve day of the India-Pakistan clash.
