South Africa’s star cricketer Aiden Markram hammered the magnificent hundred on Day 2 of the second Test game against India at Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town. Notably, the star all-rounder played a great knock of 106 runs from 103 balls, featuring 17 fours and two sixes to help his side post 176 runs in the second innings of the second Test match against Rohit Sharma and Co.

Referring to the game here, it was South Africa’s stand-in skipper Dean Elgar who won the toss and invited Team India to field first in the game. Notably, after being opted to bat first, the side had an awful start as they were all bundled out for just 55 runs on Day 1 of the first innings. India’s star pacer Jasprit Bumrah scalped six wickets in the second innings, which destroyed the Proteas batting line-up. However, South Africa still has a great chance to win the series if they aim to beat India under the given target on the Cape Town pitch.
