At 5-foot-5 who are you scaring?’ – Former WWE employee pokes fun at Finn Balor

Published on

The WWE has been blowing hot and cold in recent times and the writers are not finding adequate content so that they can keep the fans hinged till the onset of the mega-events. In the recent turn of events, the former WWE writer Vince Russo did not seem to be impressed by the opening segment made by Finn Balor in the recently concluded episode of Monday Night RAW.

Balor was seen in a terrible mood this week following his Judgment Day teammate Damian Priest abruptly cost him his chance to win the World Heavyweight Championship at the Money in the Bank. Dominik Mysterio, as well as Rhea Ripley, then hurried down to the ring for diffusing the situation and told Balor for discussing things backstage.

During the shoot of the latest episode for Legion of RAW, Vince Russo said that Balor was relatively smaller when compared to other stars as well as his mean streak will not be that scary to anybody who is featured in the roster.

The former writer also went on to claim that it should have been scarier, as well as more credible if any huge wrestler would have stormed down to the ring rather than Finn Balor.

“So we’ve got Balor who comes out with a very mean face. You know what’s hysterical to me? Balor comes out and he’s got this mean face. I’m just watching my television, I’m saying, ‘Bro, at 5-foot-5 who are you scaring?’ If Sid came out with a mean face, I’ll stay out of Sid’s way. But if a five-foot-five guy comes out with a mean face, I’m like come on. What are we doing here?” Russo said.

Finn Balor will be facing Set Rollins at SummerSlam: Vince Russo

Vince Russo also discussed Seth Rollins’ SummerSlam foe during the same chat. He asserted that The Judgment Day will continue The Visionary’s narrative for WWE. According to the former WWE writer, Rollins, and Finn Balor might square off at The Biggest Party of the Summer while Balor is wearing his Demon paint. He claimed that other Judgment Day participants, particularly Damian Priest, who has the Money in the Bank briefcase, could be crucial.

After the faction defeated the team of Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn on RAW this week, The Judgment Day appears to be a single unified entity. After a devastating Coup de Grace, Balor pinned Zayn to secure the victory.
