After the Shanghai Masters, the ATP rankings were revised, and both finalists of the tournament, Hubert Hurkacz and Andrey Rublev, experienced slight upward movements in their respective positions. Hubert Hurkacz’s victory at the Shanghai Masters propelled him six places to 11th in the ATP rankings, closing in on the tenth spot held by Taylor Fritz. Andrey Rublev’s final run boosted him two spots to fifth, closing the gap on fourth-placed Jannik Sinner. The top three, led by Novak Djokovic, remained unchanged, with Djokovic nearing 400 weeks as World No. 1.

In the Top 10, Holger Rune and Stefanos Tsitsipas dropped to sixth and seventh, respectively, while Casper Ruud and Alexander Zverev rose to eighth and ninth. Nicolas Jarry achieved a career-high 21st rank after reaching the Shanghai quarterfinals, and Ugo Humbert rose to 29th with a quarterfinal appearance. Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka held positions in the Top 50 at 39th and 46th, respectively.

Rafael Nadal has fallen to the 243rd position in the ATP rankings

Rafael Nadal has dropped to 243rd in the ATP rankings due to an extended absence from the tour following a hip injury at the 2023 Australian Open. The Spaniard is currently in recovery with plans for a potential comeback at the next year’s Melbourne Major.
