Amid the continuous delay in the finals of the Indian Premier League 2023, a very disheartening video has gone viral on social media. In the video, a female fan can be seen beating policemen at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The video went viral on social media and left fans outraged.

In the video, it can be seen that a cop was passing through a group of fans when a woman started pushing the cop. She slapped and pushed him thrice, but the most disheartening thing was that no one was trying to help the cop.

It’s worth noting that rain is playing hide and seek with spectators and teams at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and continues to pour heavily. It has already delayed the start and the deduction in overs has already started. However, it will be interesting to see if the match happens today or if we will have our first IPL final on a reserve day.

What will happen if the match gets washed out?

In the case of a washout on Sunday, we don’t need to worry as there is a reserve day for the game. However, if the rain stops before 12:06 and the match gets started, we will witness a 5-over per side game which might be unfair for both teams to decide on the champion. However, the cut-off time for a 15-over per side game is 10:30 PM, for 12-over per side is 11:00 PM, and for a 9-over per side game, we will need to start before 11:30 PM.

Meanwhile, CSK would like to win the title and become the second team after Mumbai Indians to clinch five IPL trophies in its history. On the other hand, Gujarat Titans would like to beat them and take revenge for the loss they faced in Qualifier 1. Notably, if GT wins this game, they will become the third team in IPL history to clinch two consecutive titles. The other two teams are Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
