The new ODI World Cup 2023 champions, Australia, are all set to lock horns against hosts India for the third T20I slated to take place on November 28 in Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. Notably, the Aussies need to win the rest of the three games if they wish to win the series against India in their next clash.

The losses against the home team in their upcoming clash will make them lose the five matches of the T20I series. However, Cricket Australia has named the fresh series ahead of the third T20I after they suffered losses in the first and second T20I. Notably, Adam Zampa and Steve Smith have flown back to their countries ahead of the next clash.

Meanwhile, the fresh team didn’t include the names of Josh Inglis, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, and Sean Abbott. Notably, their board has decided to give them the break as these players were in India for the three matches of the ODI series against India as well as the ODI World Cup 2023.

Team India is 2-0 against Australia in five matches of the T20I series

Speaking about Australia’s campaign, the visitors posted a massive total of 208/4 during the first T20I. However, the hosts chased it down with one ball to spare, despite being reduced to 22/2 early in the game. In addition, Team India posted 235/8 in the given 20 overs in the second T20I. However, the Aussies could only manage to get 191 runs and lost the game by 44 runs while giving a major boost to the hosts.
