‘Bhai agle match ki taiyari karle’ – Fans react as Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma play Badminton together in Bangalore

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are one of the most loved Cricket and Bollywood couples in India. Earlier, Anushka shared a video on her social media where the couple can be seen dancing to a Punjabi song. However, another picture of them went viral on social media where Kohli and Anushka were spotted playing Badminton at an event in Bangalore.

The star couple got married in 2017 after they were rumoured to from 2013. In January 2021, they were also blessed with a daughter Vamika. The couple first met during an ad shoot in 2013. In an interview given earlier, Kohli also mentioned how nervous he was before meeting Anushka for the first time and also revealed that it was an awkward moment.

“I remember it was 2013. I had just been named the captain for the Zimbabwe Tour, I was excited. Then my manager called up about a TV commercial. He told me that I was shooting with Anushka Sharma. She was a well-established, one of the top actors. As soon as I heard that, I was shivering. I was so nervous. I was so, so tensed before walking on the set, I was thinking ‘How am I going to say hi to her? What am I going to say?’” Kohli said on a chat show with AB de Villiers on the Three Sixty YouTube channel.

I was so completely out of it. I went there 5 minutes before her. I did not realise how tall she was. Out of my nervousness… Frst thing I told her, she was wearing decent-high heels. The first tithing I told her when I saw her heel was ‘Didn’t you get anything higher to wear?’,” he further added.

Currently, Kohli is playing for his IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. Notably, he was also the captain in the last two matches against Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals as Faf du Plessis came as an impact player in both matches. Under his captaincy, RCB won both games while defending a total. RCB currently stand in the fifth position at the points table after winning four out of seven games played so far in IPL 2023.
