‘Bhai badhai ho’ – Fans react as India cricketer Jasprit Bumrah and wife Sanjana Ganesan are blessed with baby boy

The good news has reached Jasprit Bumrah and his family, as the Indian cricketer and his wife Sanjana Ganesan are blessed with a baby boy. The couple have named their newborn son ‘Angad’. The Indian pacer took to his social media to share the joy of becoming a father. In his Instagram handle, Bumrah posted the image of him holding the little hands of his newborn baby and his wife. 

In his social media post, Bumrah wrote “Our little family has grown, and our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning we welcomed our little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah into the world. We are over the moon and can’t wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it. Jasprit and Sanjana.” The post was filled with joyous comments from everyone. 

The Indian quick bowler returned from Sri Lanka to Mumbai to be with his wife to witness the birth of the new life. The fans, family, supporters, cricket fraternity, former cricketers, fellow teammates, and friends of the Indian star cricketer have wished him for his child. On a funny note, some fans are already contemplating what Angad would accomplish in the future as a cricketer!  

Bumrah to join the Indian team for the super 4 stage of the tournament

Bumrah was ruled out of the match against Nepal, which will be happening today in Pallekele. According to the reports, there are more than 80 percent of chances of the match getting washed out due to rain, similar to the match between India and Pakistan. With the forecast not so good and the opponent not so strong, the 29-year-old was allowed by the Indian team to fly back to Mumbai. 

After the completion of the group stage matches, India will likely face the bigger challenge. India will play teams like Bangladesh or Sri Lanka or Afghanistan along with Pakistan, if they win against Nepal or the match ends without a result. The Indian fans can rejoice, as Bumrah will join the Indian team for the super 4 stage of the tournament.
