‘Black main dekhna ka mazza alag hai’ – Fans react to CSK tickets being sold in black outside Chepauk
The largest T20 franchise competition in the world without a doubt is the Indian Premier League. It not only hosts the top cricket players in the globe but additionally draws large crowds every night.
Everyone benefits from the IPL, including the sponsors, advertisers, and broadcasters. While the IPL is a “win-win” situation for everyone, a Times of India report claims that tickets for CSK fixtures at the Chepauk have been offered on the black market for a staggering Rs 5000 for tickets valued at Rs 750. Because of MS Dhoni, the Chennai team is constantly in the news. There are supporters cheering for Dhoni everywhere he goes, and they line up to catch an image of him. At the Wankhede, we recently witnessed how the yellow army controlled the masses.
Such crowds are expected, given that Dhoni’s time with CSK being an active cricket player may be his last. The police will face a significant struggle in trying to reduce the black tickets market, especially during the Indian Premier League season.
Chennai Super Kings lost its opening match in the Indian Premier League 2023 against Gujarat but came back with two straight victories. They appear to be a strong bunch this year, so it will be intriguing to discover if Mahendra Singh Dhoni can lead them to a fifth IPL title this year. It won’t be simple as all the teams look good and will be looking to stamp their authority over the league, for sure.
At the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Chennai Super Kings overcame Mumbai Indians with seven wickets in their last encounter. Ajinkya Rahane and Ruturaj Gaikwad, who both played excellent cricket, helped CSK to chase the target of 158. Jason Behrendorff grabbed a wicket for MI in the meanwhile.
Ishan Kishan’s 32 runs in 21 balls helped MI reach 157/8 in the first 20 overs. In the meantime, Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets for CSK, who had strong bowling performances. Tushar Deshpande and Mitchell Santner both got two wickets in the first innings.

75% of CSK tickets are sold in black only. Need to take strict action on this.

This is utter failure from management side , this could have been avoided by a great franchise like CSK a 4 times IPL champion
Incident like match fixing and tickets being sold in black market dents Dhoni's and CSK image
