Indian star batter Rinku Singh once again performed the unthinkable as he hit three straight sixes in the ongoing UP T20 League to help his team, the Meerut Mavericks, win the match during the super overs on Thursday. Notably, the Uttar Pradesh-born batter has consistently done well in domestic cricket, but the great batter garnered recognition for his spectacular batting performances in the IPL 2023 while playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Notably, the 25-year-old batter’s most memorable innings came against the Gujarat Titans, in which he hit five consecutive sixes to young bowler Yash Dayal in the last five balls to secure a historic victory for the side. In addition, this great knock earned him his debut cap in the T20Is. Meanwhile, the left-handed batter also showed his magnificent performance during the second T20I against Ireland, which earned him the player of the match award.

Rinku Singh hammered three back to back sixes

Meanwhile, the southpaw again lit up with his performances during the Uttar Pradesh T20 League against Kashi Rudras. Notably, the Meerut Mavericks posted a score of 181/4 in the given 20 overs after opting to bat first. Later, while chasing, Kashi Rudras were able to reach the score in the last ball to level up the scores. Following the same, Kashi Rudras scored 16 runs in the super overs.

Notably, KKR star batter Rinku Singh was on strike during the super over. The young batter couldn’t get anything on the first ball but hit three sixes back-to-back to reach the target with two balls to spare during super overs for his side, the Meerut Mavericks.
