Capcom reveals schedule for Street Fighter 6 Capcom Cup X
Capcom has now announced the schedule for Street Fighter 6 Capcom Cup X. The event is set to start this weekend and will feature the biggest prize pool in the series of over $1.7 million. What’s even more exciting is that the winner will take home $1 million.
Street Fighter 6 was released as a huge success last year, thanks to its simplified control and several quality-of-life improvements. These allowed new players to jump into the game and have fun without mashing their heads to the wall while leaning combos.
The Capcom Cup X will run from February 21 to February 25. The first three days will see the Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ) where one player will qualify for the group stages. Following that, the next three days will see group-stage matches.
Group stage matches will feature 48 participants across the world, divided equally into eight groups of six. Out of these participants, only 16 players, two from each group, will qualify for the Capcom Cup X grand finals taking place on February 24.
The participants will be entering the tournament through different offline and online events.
