After the completion of the Oscars which took place in Los Angeles,  star Tollywood actor Ram Charan arrived in India on Friday, March 17. After his arrival, he attended a conclave that took place in the national capital in which many more prominent personalities were there from different fields.

In his statement, Ram Charan mentioned that he enjoys doing sports-related movies and asserted that the time has come. A news anchor questioned him about his favourite sports-related movies. Then, Charan was interrupted by another interviewer who suggested that he should portray former India skipper Virat Kohli.

The South Indian actor stated that playing Kohli would be fantastic and he is an inspiration to all. “Given a chance, it will be fantastic,” said Megastar. We must wait and see if this actually happens. Charan will be next seen in a politically oriented-movie directed by Shankar.

Virat Kohli scored 75th International Century

Former India skipper Virat Kohli went on to score the 28th Test century of his international career after a long gap of 1205 days in the fourth and final Border-Gavaskar Trophy on Sunday, March 12. The last century he scored was back in November 2019, in the pink-ball Test match against Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, which was also India’s first-ever Day-Night Test for the Rohit Sharma-led side. There, he scored 139 runs against the Bangla Tigers.

Kohli scored the 75th ton of his International career on Sunday. After Sachin Tendulkar, he is the only other batter in history to achieve that milestone. It is predicted that Kohli will surpass Tendulkar’s incredible record of 100 centuries in international cricket. Although the 34-year-old still needs 25 hundreds to complete that record. Many former cricketers are of the opinion that Kohli won’t have any trouble getting there because of his physical fitness.

The former Bangalore franchise skipper is currently participating in the ODI series against Australia. In the first match, India won by 5 wickets. The second match of the series will be played at the Dr. Y.S. Rajashekhara Redddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Vishakapatnam, while the third final encounter of the series will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
