Pakistan vs New Zealand 2023

‘Cheerleader lene ka budget nahi hoga’ – Fans troll Babar Azam after his dancing video from dressing room during PAK vs NZ fifth T20I goes viral

The fifth T20I series match between Pakistan and New Zealand was played on April 24, 2023. The Men in Green were up 2-1 in the series after four games. Babar Azam and his team needed to avoid a setback to win the home series. On the other hand, the Kiwis wanted a victory to tie the series.

But Mark Chapman produced a superb knock during the chase that gave New Zealand the victory. But a video of Babar Azam dancing in the locker room from that game has gone viral. People went bonkers and posted their opinions on social media when they saw it.

‘We have a lot of positives from the series’ – Babar Azam

Regarding the series, Babar Azam’s performance as Pakistan’s captain resulted in another devastating series. The host team decisively won the first two games of the five-match series. They were therefore expected to win the series. But because the fourth match was postponed due to weather, they lost the third and fifth games. Fans were disappointed to learn that Pakistan drew the series despite being in the lead. However, Babar Azam had a century in this series as a batter. Nevertheless, he scored 130 runs at an average of 43.33 in four innings.

During the post-match presentation after the last match’s defeat, Babar Azam said, “I think we were 10-15 runs short after Rizwan revived the innings for us through the middle phases. The way Iftikhar performed in the batting department has been a major boost for us. Same goes for Imad how he carried his form from the PSL and chipped in with both bat and ball; it’s been really helpful. We have a lot of positives from the series, especially how the young guns have come out and expressed. We have also understood the areas where we are lacking, and we will try to improve. Special knock this from Chapman. Congratulations to him. We will look to switch on for the ODIs and give our best there.”
