‘He just came up like world number 1 in the play’ – Daniil Medvedev showers praise on Alex de Minaur after win in China Open 2023

English tennis star Katie Charlotte was recently seen teasing her boyfriend Alex de Minaur during the China Open 2023. Notably, the 27-year-old star seems joyful over her boyfriend’s entry with a little girl in the court area during the play. Ahead of the game, the Australian star was seen holding the hands of a ball girl.

Katie Charlotte took this incident to her social media account and wrote, “Holding hands with another girl.” Meanwhile, Alex de Minaur lost the game and was unable to enter the quarterfinal as Russian star Daniil Medvedev secured the victory over him in Beijing.

Following an emphatic win, tennis star Daniil Medvedev heaps praise on the mental ability of Alex de Minaur. The 27-year-old star says that the Australian great always plays better when he sets down during the play. In addition, the Russian-born player also expressed satisfaction after winning the second set while accepting that the 24-year-old star had beaten him magnificently in the first set.

“Tough, tough like always. Alex has this ability, everyone knows it that when he’s down, he starts to play better. That’s what happened today. First set, I didn’t manage to count him down, as he was playing better because he was down. Second set I managed to play just unbelievable,” Daniil Medvedev said in his post-match interview.

Tough to play against Alex de Minaur, a tough victory: Daniil Medvedev

In addition, the 27-year-old legend accepted that it was tough for him to play against the Sydney-born star, but he was thrilled after a hard-fought win.
