Australia’s star cricketer, David Warner, has set the stage to entertain his fans in the ongoing edition of the Big Bash League. Notably, the left-handed batter will make his entry from a helicopter in the clash against the Sydney Sixers on Friday. The Southpaw has recently announced his retirement from ODI and Test cricket and will now appear in his home league. Meanwhile, his teammate Gurinder Sandhu and Sean Abbott have expressed their happiness after his Australian teammate Warner appeared to play in the Big Bash League.
Gurinder Sandhu reveals that David Warner is making much of an effort to play the clash, as he is directly coming from his brother’s wedding. In addition, the right-arm seamer feels that the fans are ecstatic to have the 37-year-old cricketer in the team for the ongoing league clash of Sydney Thunders vs Sydney Sixers.
“He’s going to a lot of effort to come and play for us. We love having him here. Last year he was awesome for us, maybe didn’t score as many runs as he would have liked but around the group and passing on knowledge was awesome to have him around. He’s one of the better team men. All the fans get to enjoy him playing cricket,” he added further,” Gurinder Sandhu said.
