Diego Moreira makes his comeback in Chelsea
Portuguese football club Olympique Lyonnais has confirmed that Diego Moreira has made his comeback in his parent club, Chelsea. He went to the club early this season on loan but failed to establish himself which is why he has returned to England. Moreira played 10 games across competitions.
On Sunday, January 21, Moreira took to social media to announce his imminent departure from OL. “Lyon supporters, today marks the end of my loan with OL and I wanted to thank you for your welcome from the first day, the first match, from my first steps at the Groupama Stadium. These are memories that will be etched into me. I hope that the players, as well as the supporters, will reach their objectives in this second half of the season. Always in my heart. Go Lyon!” he said on Instagram.
