Mumbai Indians (MI) batter Suryakumar Yadav, on Tuesday, played a sensational knock-off 83 off just 44 balls against West Indies, as the visitors won by seven wickets at the Providence Stadium, Guyana. India won the all-important match but is still trailing the five-match series 1-2 in the five-match T20I series.

In reply to the target of 160 runs, Indian openers put up another disappointing performance, with debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal scoring one run and Shubman Gill scoring six. Suryakumar Yadav, on the other hand, found his touch, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise for the team.
