Dutch Mantell opens up on star wrestlers release in WWE

Dutch Mantell talked about the whole saga of Dolph Ziggler getting released. It has been a long road for Ziggler as he has been associated with the company since 2004. He had memorable fights and duels with the likes of Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kane, and Big Show. Ziggler has also made big records when it comes to singles in WWE as well. He won the World Heavyweight Championship twice. He was also the sole survivor of Team Cena at the 2014 Survivor Series.

Mantell talked about Dolph had been having a long stint with the company. He claimed that the former world champion had enough money to relax and step away from the business of wrestling and also from the company for a few years. The wrestling veteran felt that Ziggler had a wonderful idea about how the business works and that there would not be any hard feelings on either side after he was let go.

“Dolph Ziggler, listen, he’s been there since World War 2. He’s been there forever. Like I say, you get hired to get fired. So… and I’m sure Dolph doesn’t have any problem with it. After 20 years, you have stacked enough to get you through the next couple of years. He can go and relax, lay back, go to the Caribbean, go and do whatever he wants to do without a worry in the world. So, there’s no hard feelings on anybody’s side because everybody understands that.” Mantell said on Smack Talk.

While there have been a lot of releases happening in the world of wrestling and WWE. The Rock aka Dwayne Jhonson made a surprise return to the ring on SmackDown. When Ziggler was released by WWE, the Rock sent a heartfelt message stating his contributions to the company will never be forgotten. The Rock put out a message on Twitter and said that Ziggler will be missed dearly. He congratulated Ziggler on a two-year-long career.
