ESL Pro League Season 19; All you need to know

The ESL Pro League Season 19 is set to start in March, and we have 32 teams. While a few are entering through an ESL partner program, most of them have worked hard to climb the leaderboards.

Season 19 of ESL Pro League will also feature a prize pool of $750,000 and BLAST Premier ranking points for the top eight teams.

The participants include some of the best teams around the globe. These teams have also gained a massive fan following in their respective regional Counter-Strike community due to their performance.

Format –

The Pro League Season 19 will commence with four triple-elimination brackets in group stages. Teams will be divided into four groups of eight. All matches will be best-of-three in the group stages. Team distribution will be revealed soon.

Since the tournament is featuring triple-elimination, all teams will have three shots at qualifying for playoffs. The losing team in the upper bracket will go to the middle bracket. Teams losing in the middle bracket will go to the lower bracket before elimination.

A total of 16 teams (four teams from each group) will move to the playoffs. The upper brackets will have two finalists, while the middle and lower brackets will feature the winners in playoffs.

Winners of the group stage upper brackets will also move directly to the quarterfinals of playoffs. The loser will move to Round of 12. The winners of the middle and upper brackets will move to the Round of 16.

All playoff patches will be Single-Elimination brackets played in best-of-three. However, the grand finals will be best-of-five.
