First factory new Blue Gem in Counter Strike 2 estimated around $1 million
After 10 years, the first factory-new case-hardened weapon skin for AK-47 in Counter Strike 2 has finally appeared in the market. Along with a few others, it is now one of the most expensive CS2 weapon skins.
Popular streamer OhnePixel who specializes in Counter-Strike weapon skins has estimated the price of the weapon around $1 million as it is one of a kind.
It is also one of the earliest weapon skins added back in 2013 to Counter Strike Global Offensive. The case in which the skin can be found, the ‘Weapon Case’ is also very expensive and rarely drops while playing.
What makes this skin that expensive?
While there are many case-hardened weapon skins, this particular pattern with Blue tint, popularly known as Blue Gem, is hard to find in good condition. Factors like its float value, Type and the StatTrak feature can highly affect the value.
Here are the weapon statistics –
Finish: Case Hardened
Type: Factory New | StatTrak
Pattern: #661
Float Value: 0.04827452823519707
The Factory New is the highest-quality weapon and the StatTrak allows players to keep track of how many kills they have in-game. The 661 pattern along with 151, 955, 321, 387, 670, and 179 are considered tier 1 seeds.
There have been many Blue Gem AK-47s discovered over the course of the year, however, they were always lacking in one of the features.
Currently, the most expensive weapon skin is a case-hardened Karambit knife, which is also a Blue Gem with #387 seed. The knife is priced at $1.5 million. Both of these weapon skins are currently unsold.
