Free Fire World Series Spring Indonesia; Teams and Format

The Free Fire World Series for 2024 is back, starting with the Southeast Asia (SEA) spring split. The upcoming Indonesia 2024 Spring is set to feature 18 teams who are fighting for the regional championship.

A total of 18 teams are taking part in the event. However, only two will secure a spot for FFWS SEA. Out of the 18 teams, 12 are invited, while the other six qualified through Nusantara Series 2.

A total of five Indonesian teams are taking part in the upcoming event. However, they have to face others from Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia.

Format –

Knockout Stage – All teams will be divided into three groups of six. These teams will play 54 matches in three weeks. The top 12 qualifying teams will move to Points Rush mode and grand finals.

Points Rush – The main objective for teams will be to gather as many points as possible. The stage will run through March 1 and 2. While this mode will not result in any disqualifications, it will affect the grand finals.

Grand Finals – After concluding points rush, the teams will move to the grand finals on March 3. The teams at the commencement of the match will get Headstart Points based on how much they scored in the point rush mode. The teams will then play six matches.

After all the matches are concluded, in the grand finals, the winners will be announced. The top two teams will get direct entry into the Free Fire World Series SEA Championship.
