In addition, the top-order batter lauded the bowlers for bundling out Bangladesh for 193 runs. Notably, the star cricketer heaps praise on left-arm pacer Shaheen Afridi and star pacer Haris Rauf for their wonderful bowling spells. The Lahore-born cricketer further added that the crowd on home soil always supports them.

“Too much heat, but full credit to the fast bowlers. First Shaheen and then Haris Rauf. We planned on picking Faheem because we saw the pitches here, there was grass on it and we like that also. Always when we play here, the crowd supports us and I hope all of them enjoyed this match,” he added further.

Speaking here about the match, Bangladesh skipper Shakib-Al-Hasan won the toss and invited the hosts to field first. Notably, after opting to bat first, the visitors could only rack up 193 runs before bundling out against Pakistan’s bowling attack. Later, while casing, the home team chased down the target with 63 balls to spare.
