‘He makes the difference in all the games’ – Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti appreciates the Brazillian right winger

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti recently applauded the Brazillian winger Vinicius Junior’s contribution to the Club World Cup final helped to clinch the title. The team defeated Al-Hilal 5-3 in the final at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Morocco on February 11. Federico Valverde and Karim Benzema also scored twice along with Vinicius.

In their 4-1 victory over Al Ahly in the semifinals on February 8, Vinicius contributed as well. Madrid’s two victories came after a challenging 1-0 defeat against Mallorca on February 5 in La Liga.

“Vinicius continues to progress, as the whole team is doing. The team has won the Champions League and the World Cup, like Vinicius. He continues to improve, he makes a difference in all the games, and scoring goals is very important,” Ancelotti on Vinicius’s performance in the final.

“Vinicius’ week has been like ours, hurt by the defeat in Mallorca, but with the desire to win again. He is excited and has shown it. He will rest for a couple of days and will return against Osasuna. He does not show tiredness, but it will be good for him to rest,” the manager added.

Vinicius has now contributed seven assists and 16 goals to Real Madrid’s attack in 33 games this season across all competitions. As per reports, Ancelotti is set to leave the Real Madrid job. Apparently, he accepted the role of Brazil’s head coach after Tite stepped down from the post after his team was knocked out of FIFA World Cup 2023 in the quarterfinal.

However, the Brazilian Football Federation has called this news fake and has given a statement in response. “The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) informs that the news released this Friday (10/02) that the coach of Real Madrid, Italian Carlo Ancelotti, is the new coach of the Brazilian national team is unfounded,” said the Brazilian Football Confederation.

“President Ednaldo Rodrigues maintains the statements given on Wednesday after the drawing of the matches for the Copa do Brasil. At the time, the official ruled out speculation, saying that the matter is dealt with transparently and that the coach chosen will be announced at the right time,” the statement further added.
