Bray Wyatt is regarded as one of the most creative superstars in WWE. With a lot of characters, Wyatt has entertained the WWE universe over the years. Yet, the 36-year-old is not regarded as one of the top superstars in WWE. Neither is Wyatt considered to be a candidate for the main events. One of the former managers of WWE has said the same.

Dutch Mantell has claimed Bray Wyatt to be incapable of drawing the crowd to the events. The former WWE manager felt that Wyatt does not have the capability of selling tickets on his own might. Speaking about the superstar in a show, Mantell said that if Wyatt was the face of a main event, it would need more superstars to sell out.

Dutch Mantell’s comments on Bray Wyatt

“Put him (Bray Wyatt) in the main event, and with all the other stuff underneath, you would probably sell out. But he would not be the one selling out. He would just be on the card in the top spot maybe he does not belong in,” said Dutch Mantell in the show.

Going by the words of Mantell, it is interesting to note that Wyatt’s match against Bobby Lashley in WrestleMania 39 was canceled due to an unmentioned illness. Since then, Bray Wyatt has not appeared in the ring. The eater of the words is well known for his return in Extreme Rules 2022. It was one of the most hyped-up comebacks in the recent past. The fans are expecting a similar comeback from the former Universal Champion.

The potential comeback of Wyatt was said to happen on August 5th for Summer Slam. So far, nothing has been materialized regarding the comeback. According to reports, Wyatt might enter the ring after the three marquee matches in Summer Slam 2023. Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor, Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso, and Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes clashes are considered to be the big matches on Summer Slam 2023.
