‘All eyes on the bowlers now’ – Fans react as India all out for 445 in first innings of 3rd Test vs England

Team India posted 445 runs before getting all out in the first inning of the third Test match, which took place at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. Notably, England had won the first Test match in Hyderabad despite India having a great lead in the first innings. However, the hosts have bounced back magnificently to win the second Test match and levelled up the series by 1-1.

Speaking about the ongoing game, it was India’s skipper Rohit Sharma who won the toss and invited the visiting sides to field first in the game. Notably, after being opted to bat first, the side posted 445 runs before getting all out. However, India was reduced to 33/3 as Yashasvi Jaiswal was out for just 10 runs while Shubman Gill and Rajat Patidar were dropped after scoring 0 and 5 runs, respectively.

Meanwhile, it was India’s skipper Rohit Sharma who kept the side in the dominant position as he went on to hammer 131 runs from 196 balls, featuring 14 boundaries and three sixes, to help India post the great total. In addition to that, star batter Ravindra Jadeja also got 112 runs from 225 balls, including nine fours and two sixes, to help the side stand in a great position.

Mumbai batter Sarfaraz Khan also showed his great form as he went on to hammer 62 runs from 66 balls, including nine boundaries and one six, whereas Dhruv Jurel made 46 runs. In addition, Ravichandran Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah also added 37 and 26 runs, respectively, to help India post a respectable total of 445 runs as they aim to win the third Test match to take a 2-1 lead.
