India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 Weather Report: Colombo wakes up to bright and sunny Sunday morning

The Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup 2023 is all set to host the arch-rivals India vs. Pakistan in just a few hours. Earlier, the previous India vs. Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 match was called off owing to rain; this time, more than a billion spectators have been waiting for the result. In addition, after defeating Nepal by 10 wickets, the Rohit Sharma-led team will enter the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo with great confidence to open their Super Fours campaign.

Meanwhile, the Babar Azam side is also in a great position as they defeated Bangladesh during their opening game of the Super Fours and will be looking to beat Team India to make their way into the finals. However, Rohit Sharma’s side will also be looking to beat the Men in Green to reach the finals. Notably, during the Asia Cup 2022, the Men in Blue were unable to reach the finals as they suffered back-to-back defeats against Pakistan and Sri Lanka during the Super Fours.

It’s a must-win encounter for Team India against Pakistan

Speaking about the weather, the Met Department had earlier predicted heavy rainfall on September 10, which pushed the ACC to make a revised date for the clash on September 11. However, it’s reported that Colombo woke up to a bright and sunny Sunday morning. Earlier, it was reported that there was a 90% chance of rain, but it has been noted that there has been no rainfall since Friday evening. Notably, there was no rain during the Sri Lanka-Bangladesh clash on Saturday, which was hosted in Colombo.

Meanwhile, it’s a must-win encounter for Team India as Pakistan and Sri Lanka remain undefeated in the tournament. Earlier, Sri Lanka and Pakistan defeated Bangladesh, which knocked them out of the tournament. Notably, the final will be played with any two teams from India, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka. Last time, when both sides met, Rohit Sharma’s side could only rack up 266 runs before getting all out. Later, the match was called off due to rain, and both teams shared one point.
