Team India is all set to face South Africa for the second ODI game, slated to take place on December 19 at the George Oval Cricket Stadium in Gqeberha. Notably, KL Rahul-led Team India is currently leading the series by 1-0, and they are just one win away from clinching the series. On the other hand, the Proteas will be looking to win the game to seal the series against India.

Notably, both sides last met in the 50th over of the game in the ODI World Cup 2023, where Team India had completely outclassed South Africa at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. However, they continued to have the great momentum in the first ODI and won the first game on December 17 to take the lead.

Speaking about the first game, the home team could only manage to score 116 runs before getting an all-out. Notably, Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan went on to dismantle their batting line-up. However, Team India chased down the total in just 16.4 overs to win the opening game of the series by 8 wickets, taking the lead of 1-0 in the three matches of the series.
