The Indian Cricket Board has announced India’s women’s team series against England and Australia, which is slated to take place in December and January. Notably, India’s women’s team will be facing England for the three games of the T20I series at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The iconic cricket ground is currently gearing up to host India vs. Sri Lanka in the ODI World Cup 2023 on November 2 before the series.

Following that, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will be facing an English set-up for a four-day Test match, which will be played from December 14 to 17 at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. However, Australia will also subsequently arrive in India for the multi-format series.

The strong Australian side will start their campaign with a one-off Test match against India slated to take place at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. In addition, it will be followed by three ODI series as well as three T20I series at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, the Indian women’s team was last seen in action during the Asian Games in 2023. Notably, Harmanpreet Kaur-led India won the gold medal as they thrashed Malaysia in the quarterfinals and Bangladesh in the semifinals before upsetting Sri Lanka in the final game. However, ahead of the Asian Games 2023, the Indian women’s team played the ODI series against Bangladesh, where the series was levelled up.
