The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League has finally ended with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lifting the title for the fifth time after defeating the defending champions Gujarat Titans in a thrilling final in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. Throughout the season, we have witnessed some exceptional performances from the players that change the course of the game in their team’s favour.

There were splendid performances by some young players who made their names famous all over the world, While there were also some players for whom IPL 2023 came as a redemption and they knocked on the doors of the Indian cricket team once again. However, picking up the best IPL XI of the season among so many talents turns out to be a hectic task. So

Openers:

A good start plays a crucial role to set the momentum for a team in a T20 game. The bigger the opening partnership is, the bigger the score team achieves. For this, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)skipper Faf du Plessis will be opening with the start batter of Gujarat Titans (GT), Shubman Gill. Du Plessis is the highest scorer of the season for RCB with 730 runs from 14 matches at an average of 56.15. Middle-order batters:

At number three, RCB star Virat Kohli could be a perfect fit. He could play an anchor to bing balance in the batting lineup. After him, Cameron Green could take charge of the batting line-up. The 24-year-old has been tremendous in his maiden IPL season for Mumbai Indians where he scored 452 runs from 16 matches at an average of 50.22, including a century in the last league match for to confirm his team’s playoff qualification.

After that, as a finisher, Rinku Singh could be the perfect choice for at number five.
