The Indian Premier League (IPL) is famous for many reasons starting with the Orange Cap and Purple Cap. When a player scores the highest runs and takes the highest wickets, the caps are given to them. The tournament is all about batters’ scoring runs effortlessly including centuries and half-centuries.

Players also have records of scoring 300+ runs in all the seasons of the tournament. Moreover, several players were top run scorers in IPL without scoring a fifty. In the entire tournament, the players haven’t reached the 50 mark but still managed to score more runs at a good average and strike rate.

In 2013, South Africa’s Jacques Kallis was one of the best players in IPL. Thus, he scored 311 runs in 16 innings at a strike rate of 96.58 and an average of 25.91 in IPL. Overall, his highest score was just 41 runs throughout the season. Even though he had a successful 2012 season, his 2013 season wasn’t that good. He still managed to touch the 300-run mark.

India’s keeper-batter, Robin Uthappa has played for a lot of franchises in IPL including CSK and KKR. In all the teams he has given his best. However, in the inaugural season of the IPL, he scored 320 runs in 14 innings at a strike rate of 114.69 and an average of 24.61 while his highest score was 48 runs.

Delhi Capitals’ captain, Rishabh Pant is a world-class player in all the formats of the game. His 2022 IPL season was quite impressive as he scored 340 runs in 13 innings at a strike rate of 151.78 and an average of 28.33. However, his highest score was just 44 runs.

Aussie batter, Steve Smith, was quite impressive in all the IPL seasons was a part of. Moreover, in 2012, he scored 362 runs in 15 innings at a strike rate of 135.58 and an average of 40.22. However, his highest score was 47 runs. Smith scored throughout the tournament but never got the opportunity to score a fifty. In 2012, he was playing for the Pune Warriors India.

CSK’s Dwayne Bravo is the entertainer of IPL. In the year 2012, Bravo had a great tournament in terms of scores. He scored 371 runs in 16 innings at a strike rate of 140.53 and an average of 46.37 and his highest score was 48. This became a unique record for him as he got the most runs without scoring a 50.
