‘Iska odd-even system kab khatam hoga’ – Fans slam Yashsasvi Jaiswal as he gets dismissed for just 5 runs in 5th T20I against West Indies

The 5th and final match of the ongoing 5-match T20I series between India and West Indies is being played at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Florida on Sunday, August 13. Both teams have won two matches each and are clashing against each other in the Decider match.

Meanwhile, India suffered a huge setback as their young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal failed to do anything in the decider as he got out for just 5 runs in the very first over of the first innings. It was Jaiswal’s only 3rd T20I match of his career and the intent that he showed during his short innings was quite impressive. However, the fans were not impressed with his over-aggressive approach and trolled him on social media.

We should challenge ourselves: Hardik Pandya

Coming back to the match, Indian skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bat first. After winning the toss, he said that one needs to be courageous to play on these types of surfaces. “We will bat first. Always feel, we should challenge ourselves. It was a good track. It played better than last year. You need to be courageous on these types of wickets. Arsh has a big heart. Even if you can make a good comeback even in the last two balls, it makes a difference.” Pandya said after the toss.

West Indies skipper Rovman Powell admits that they are struggling a little however he believes that they will win the final match. “Happy to bowl first. We have been struggling a little. But back-to-back wins put a smile on the faces of our people. I think it is a good surface. You just need to have plans for different batters. We just sat down and tried to come up with our best combination. Joseph, our premier bowler is back for McCoy.” he said
