According to the latest weather reports, there is an 80 per cent chance of rain during India’s campaign-starting game against arch-rival Pakistan. This game is crucial for India, as Pakistan has beaten Nepal in the opening game. Losing this match will push them back in the race for the continental championship. It’s worth noting that a storm named Balagolla is set to hit the city on Saturday, and it might impact the result of the game.
According to Google Weather, there are up to 80% chances of rain during the match, and there will be overcast conditions throughout the day. The temperature is likely to hover around 25 degrees during game time. Official weather reports for Sri Lanka predict up to 70 per cent chances of rain before the start of the game and during the match.
Rain interrupted Sri Lanka vs. Bangladesh match
In the ongoing game of the Asia Cup 2023, Sri Lanka faced Bangladesh at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele. During the game, rain interrupted progress twice while Bangladesh was batting in the first inning. With mild showers, the game was paused twice during the first half of the match, and it gave a sneak peek at the upcoming matches of the Indian team.
