We were in control of the game which was the positive in this game: Hardik Pandya
Moreover, during the post-match presentation, skipper Pandya revealed that they were right to chase, but their side made some silly errors, which made them lose the first T20I by a narrow margin. Furthermore, the great all-rounder says that the young side will make mistakes that will make them grow.
“We were right in the chase and quite comfortable there. We made some errors which cost us the game which is fine. A young team will make mistakes. We will grow together. Throughout the game, we were in control of the game which was the positive in this game,” Pandya said after losing the first T20I.
Meanwhile, the West Indies are 1-0 ahead of the visitors. Notably, India will be looking to make a great comeback in the second T20I commencing on August 6.
