‘Khel ke aehsan kar rahe kya’- Fans show no mercy after Anushka Sharma reveals about Virat Kohli’s illness before hitting century

Star India batter Virat Kohli has been phenomenal throughout his career. He has been one of the most phenomenal batters in this generation and has hammered various memorable centuries. One of his favourite and most awaited centuries would be the one coming against Australia in the ongoing 4th Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Kohli, in his innings, scored 186 runs scoring a triple-digit score in Tests after almost 1205 days. His drought of runs has come to end with this magnificent ton. However, reacting to his impressive batting, his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma praised him. She endorsed him for playing with sickness and having the same temperament.

Sharing a video of Virat Kohli from the game, Anushka put up a story on Instagram. “Playing through sickness with this composure. Inspiring me always,” Anushka wrote on her Instagram story after Kohli’s 75th international ton. Notably, this is Kohli’s 28th Test century as he scored his last one against Bangladesh in 2019.

India and Australia are looking for a draw in the last Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. After getting a lead of 91 runs in the first innings, India failed to get quick wickets on Day 5 and the match is looking to head towards a draw.

At the end of the first session, Australia scored 73 runs in 36 overs, while having nine wickets in hand. Although Ravichandran Ashwin dismissed night watchman Matthew Kuhnemann in the first hour of the day, India failed to capitalize on the opportunity.

Meanwhile, New Zealand registered a win against Sri Lanka by two wickets in the first Test. Sri Lanka’s loss paved the way for India in the finals of the Test Championship. India will face Australia in the finals starting on 7 June at the Oval Cricket Ground in London.
