‘Kis Kis ko pyaar karun?’ – Fans react as Sara Tendulkar and Suhana Khan spotted in stadium during MI vs KKR in IPL 2023

Cricketers become more enthusiastic when their family or franchise owners come to support them at the stadium. The same happened in the 22nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 which was played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in which Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar was seen in the stands supporting MI and his brother Arjun Tendulkar who made his IPL debut.

KKR’s owner and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan who often seen in every KKR match was once again came to support the team at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and the cameraman was also constantly capturing both Sara and Suhana. Arjun’s bowled the first over of the innings and conceded only 5 runs, Sara was looking very happy after seeing that.

Talking about the match, Suryakumar Yadav led MI in Rohit Sharma’s absence and decided to bowl first after winning the toss and it proved to be the right decision initially as KKR’s openers disappointed once again. N Jagadeesan missed another opportunity to show his skills and got out on a duck after playing 5 balls. Rahamanullah Gurbaz was struggling as well and got out after scoring only 8 runs.

Venkatesh Iyer’s brilliant Maiden century

However, later, KKR’s best batter in the current season, Venkatesh Iyer, came to bat at no.3 and accelerated the run rate. Interestingly, he got injured in the powerplay as he got hit on his knee by the ball and he looked in a lot of pain. Everyone thought that he would leave the field but surprisingly he decided to keep batting.

And no one would’ve thought that he will end up smashing his maiden century. He also broke KKR’s 15-year-old century drought which came in the very first match of the inaugural edition of the cash-rich league where Brendon McCullum smashed 158 runs against RCB. With the help of Iyer’s brilliant knock, KKR managed to achieve a fighting total of 185 runs in 20 overs.
