‘KL Rahul specialist captain hai batter nahi’ – Fans react to LSG’s bizarre IPL 2023 stats when KL Rahul has scored above 20
KL Rahul’s inability to maintain the necessary run-scoring rate was a large contributor to their final three games’ inconsistency, out of which they lost two. The skipper’s abrupt slowdown after getting off to a strong start with a barrage of boundaries with sixes is perplexing. In fact, despite being in a good position, the Lucknow Super Giants succumbed to the Gujarat Titans by seven runs last week as a result of Rahul’s slow strike-rate. Marcus Stoinis as well as Nicholas Pooran, the two big hitters for the Lucknow Super Giants, are finding it more difficult as a result of Rahul’s struggles in the middle overs.
Rahul, who is a far better batter than his present statistics would indicate, has been persistent of the necessity to keep going, especially, because his opening companion Kyle Mayers continues to be playing the strokes very frequently during Powerplay overs. Importantly, the Lucknow Super Giants remain in the top four on the league’s point tally after dropping two of their past three games. They will undoubtedly be in a stronger position if Rahul is able to maintain more control with the bat.
Before Lucknow Super Giants played Punjab Kings yesterday at the PCA IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali, their consistency along with captain KL Rahul’s underwhelming strike rate were their two main worries. KL Rahul was removed early which meant the batters who play with intent like Stoinis and Pooran bat with a lot of balls remaining. Kyle Mayers was able to score 74 off just 24 balls which kick-started the intentful innings for the franchise.
Due to amazing cameos from Nicholas Pooran and Marcus Stonis after Mayers was dismissed, Lucknow Super Giants were able to score 257 runs in their 20 overs. This is the second highest total in the history of the Indian Premier League, only behind Royal Challengers Bangalore, who amassed 263 in 2013 against Pune Warriors India.

1.Chasing 127 on a tricky pitch,LSG won
2.159/8 ,almost defended the total, Krunal screwed up in that over against Sikander
3.154/9, score 39(32) whereas at the same slow-track World's best batter score 40(41)
4.128 he failed to finishI'm not defending KL but why so much hate?

LSG lost both times when KL scored a fifty. It clearly represents that as an opener, his SR is soo low, that he actually derails the team when we bats long
Subsequently, opposition teams should try and not get him out.

Apart from the first match of LSG i.e. 193/6 all the matches were played on flat surfaces.

David Warner is the only one with all scores in double-digits without missing a single match.
With so many of IND super(hyped) stars on the horizon, I back Warner and Roy to boss the proceedings from here on.🙂

He is scoring in bad pitches and getting out early in good pitches.
