‘Kohli toh waise he wild hai’ – Fans react to Bear Grylls’ desire to collaborate with Virat Kohli for his show

British adventurer Bear Grylls expressed the desire to take Indian global personalities like the actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas as well as cricketer Virat Kohli on an adventure in an interview last year after enjoying his wild encounters with people like PM Narendra Modi, actors Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth, and Ranveer Singh. The survivalist then says that his character has already started talking to the aforementioned celebs.

Bear Grylls spoke about the plan to invite the two Indian celebrities and how it might or might not happen. He said, “I am keeping my fingers crossed. A lot is happening. We are working on the plan right now. We have not confirmed anything yet, but things are moving in the right direction.”

The 48-year-old then spoke about how both celebrities are an inspiration to people. He said, “Priyanka is the number one (celebrity) for our next show along with Virat Kohli. Both of them are such inspirational figures, who are loved around the world. So, getting to hear their stories and getting to know their journey and their life would be such a privilege for me and everyone.”

When questioned about his upcoming project, he teased that he would return to India in the next few months to shoot something spectacular, but he won’t say whether it has anything to do with the show he is working on with Priyanka and Virat. Grylls, who first gained notoriety with his television programme Man Vs. Wild, has frequented India and has taken vacations in Kolkata as well as Darjeeling. He admitted that “India is incredibly close” to his heart in War Zone: Bear Grylls Meets President Zelenskyy, which was his most recent appearance.

He said, “I first travelled to India when I was 18 when I got my first view of Mount Everest. That opened the door to so much more in my life. And I’ll always be grateful to India for that. So, I love to return and do more shows there. Wherever I go in the country, I feel warmth and love. It is hard to explain but I feel an incredible connection with India, whether I am with PM Modi, or with Ranveer or just meeting people of the country. It’s so beautiful.”
