Logan Paul set to make a comeback on WWE Raw next week
Ahead of the upcoming Pay-per-view Money in the Bank event, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has announced the comeback of WWE superstar Logan Paul. In a recent statement, WWE informed that Logan Paul will make his appearance in the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw.
Notably, after a humiliating defeat against Seth Rollins in WrestleMania 39 this will be Paul’s first appearance on the brand. It’s worth noting that on the same day, Seth Rollins announced an open challenge for World Heavyweight Championship and fans are speculating that Paul can accept his challenge and take revenge on WrestleMania 39.
However, he’d have to stare at the lights again, because WWE would never take Seth’s brand-new World Title belt away from him. After all, he only recently won the event at Night Of Champions in late May. Meanwhile, the writers likely have something different in store for Paul next week. He might be there to kickstart some SummerSlam build, or he could just be there to pop a big quarter-hour rating because of his crossover appeal.
Logan Paul has competed in just three matches
It’s worth noting that, since signing for the brand Logan Paul has participated in just three singles matches. He defeated his former partner The Miz at the SummerSlam last year. In the next pay-per-view even Paul squared off against Roman Reigns who thrashed him brutally. In his last singles game, he faced ‘The Visionary’ Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39 where once again he failed to put up a show.
It will be interesting to see how things unfold as Paul will be keen to take revenge on Rollins while Rollins would not like to lose his title so soon. However, Logan Paul might also get a chance as a surprise entrant in the Money in the Bank ladder match. All six participants have been announced for the event but still, Paul can make it.
After being a last-minute addition to the Men’s Ladder Match, Austin Theory became the 2022 Mr Money in the Bank. A comparable achievement could be accomplished by the Maverick. He has a history with both the World Heavyweight Champion and the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, keeping a cash-in on any world title holder in suspense. Logan will most likely face Santos Escobar, LA Knight, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ricochet, Butch, and Damian Priest.
Next week, WWE might announce him as the seventh RAW contestant. Putting the MITB briefcase in the hands of The YouTuber won’t be a bad idea because he could lure the majority of his fan base to wrestling.
