‘Maths ne sabko dubokar rakkha hai’ – Fans react as Virat Kohli shares his 10th standard marksheet with inspirational message
Former Bangalore franchise skipper Virat Kohli posted a photo of his Class 10th mark sheet on Twitter. “It’s funny how the things that add the least to your mark sheet add the most to your character,” Kohli captioned his post. The 34-year-old bat batter has a sizable social media fan base. As a result, Kohli’s most recent social media action quickly gained attention online.
Batting legend Virat Kohli is prepared to lead the batting charge for the Bangalore-based franchise in the Indian T20 League (ITL) 2023 after recently snapping his century drought across all formats. Sunday’s fifth ITL 2023 game between the Faf du Plessis-led Bangalore and the Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai will take place at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, their season opener. In the ITL’s history, Kohli has scored more runs than anybody else. The former Bangalore captain has 6,624 runs in 223 games of the richest T20 league in the globe.
Virat Kohli has recently ended his century drought in all formats of the game
In 2008, batting legend Kohli made his ITL debut at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium against Kolkata. The Bangalore icon has blasted five centuries and 44 half-centuries in the cash-rich franchise league. After a heartbreaking series ODI against Australia, Kohli will play in the ITL in 2023.
In the three-match One Day International (ODI) series between India and Australia, Kohli scored 89 runs at an average of 29.67. Whilst playing Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Kohli also scored his first century in a Test in four years. The former India captain scored the most runs for Rohit and company over the four-match Test series. In the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Kohli scored 297 runs.
The Indian T20 League will kick off on Friday, March 31, with Chennai and Gujarat clashing against each other in the season opener. The opening match in Ahmedabad’s iconic Narendra Modi Stadium will also host a 45-minute opening ceremony featuring megastars like Arijit Singh and Tamannaah Bhatia.
