‘Mere yakeen karo babu Iyer bas friend hai’ – Fans react as Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife shares cryptic Instagram reel after getting trolled about Shreyas Iyer

The wife of renowned leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal of the Indian cricket team, Dhanashree Verma remains highly active on social media. With her dancing videos, she has amassed a sizable social media following. She also posts about her personal life in addition to dance videos on the image-sharing platform. 

Meanwhile, recently, Verma posted a photo on her Instagram story. Everyone thought the image was normal at first, but when they learned that team India’s star batter Shreyas Iyer had also uploaded a similar picture on his Instagram story at the same time, the fans went bonkers.

Fans started viciously trolling both of them on social media. Many people alleged that Dhanashree had cheated on Chahal by posting a photo of the same building together on the same day, proving that the two were spending time together. Dhanashree and Iyer have been linked to each other before. 

Both have been spotted together recently as well. Additionally, information about their relationship frequently appears on social media. Both recently appeared together at Team India cricketer Shardul Thakur’s wedding. Additionally, they frequently appear to be partying together. Iyer recently attended an Iftar party with Chahal’s wife while watching IPL 2023. Videos of them dancing together quickly gained popularity on social media.

Soon however sanity prevailed and other fans pointed out the difference in the balcony and the distance to the nearest building proving that indeed the two pictures were clicked from different places.

Iyer hoping to make a comeback in the Indian team

Talking about Iyer, he is currently struggling with a back injury and recently went surgery for it. He missed the entire season of IPL 2023 and could not even play in the final match of the World Test Championship (WTC) final where the Indian team suffered an embarrassing 209-run loss against Australia.

On the other hand, Chahal will be back in action for the upcoming West Indies tour and will play in the 3-match ODI series which will be followed by a 2-match Test series. Chahal performed decently in IPL 2023 where he picked 21 wickets in the 14 matches he played for Rajasthan Royals. However, it’d be interesting to see if Chahal gets a place in the T20I series as well or not.
