‘Most handsome water boy’ – Fans reacts as Virat Kohli carries drinks after being rested against Bangladesh in Asia Cup 2023

Team India locked horns against Bangladesh on September 15 at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo during the final Super Fours match of the Asia Cup 2023. Notably, the Men in Blue made five notable changes to the squad to rest a few players ahead of the final match. India’s batters Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya and bowlers Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, and Mohammad Siraj are being rested during the match.

However, Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav, Mohammad Shami, Shardul Thakur, and Prasidh Krishna make their way into the squad for the match. Notably, Team India wanted to test the strength of its bench players, which forced them to make five major changes to see what they had to offer the squad in the ongoing clash against Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, India’s stalwart Virat Kohli kept himself busy by carrying the drinks for his team at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Notably, the former India skipper was seen wearing the 12th Man kit while carrying the bottles for his side during the play along with Mohammad Siraj. This is not the first time he has carried drinks. The great cricketer was last seen carrying drinks against the West Indies earlier this year.

The 34-year-old cricketer hammered 122 runs from 94 balls in the crucial match against Pakistan on September 11 at Colombo, which helped his side register a top spot in the points table due to their stellar net run rate. Following that, the right-handed batter was cheaply departed for just 3 runs against Sri Lanka, but the team managed to get a win against the home team, which helped them book their spot in the finals of the Asia Cup 2023.

Meanwhile, the RCB opener has recently completed his 13000 runs in ODI format as well as passing the mark of 5000 runs in partnership with India’s skipper Rohit Sharma. Notably, the Delhi-born cricketer will be next seen in action against Sri Lanka on September 17 in the final match of the Asia Cup 2023.
